Vito Borelli murder

Post by JMAN723 »

This has always been a murder that has been pretty confusing mostly because there have been two different timelines used. One is 1975 but that doesn’t make sense because Carlo was still alive at that point and one of the participants(Gotti) was in prison at the time. The other timeline is Fall 1980 which makes more sense. We know the alleged reason was because he disrespected Paul with some remarks but one thing I always wondered is why so many bigtime guys were involved in this one hit. Supposedly The Bergen crew, Frank Decicco, Joe Watts, Massino, and Sonny Black were all involved. Also it’s kind of ironic that Paul got rid of his daughters boyfriend AND her ex husband Frank Amato around the
Same time. If anybody has more info on this I would be appreciate it Thanks!!!

Yeah. I think there is a big misconception with Paul. Yes he was a white collar boss but the man had no issue ordering your death. The amount of murders he ordered during his reign was pretty crazy

Yeah , Its funny now how the Mob and the Gambinos are mostly white collar or trying to head in that direction totally . Paul was right back then , He wanted nothing more than to head the family in that direction , To be racketeers . These guys back then we're afraid to go against Gotti and the last thing they wanted was a war which practically happened anyway with the losing side being the Gotti faction/supporters since he did unsactioned murders and the Chin, Amuso , Casso and others were trying desperately to hit Gotti , They succeeded in hitting Alotta people close to Gotti bit never got John unfortunately. Decicco being blown up and killed wasn't the plan but IMO they still got someome at the top who needed to go since Decicco was one of the first people to side with Gotti and set the whole plan in motion . Without Decicco there'd probably be no hit on Paul or Bilotti and if Decicco crosses Gotti and tells Paul of the plan its lights out for Gotti and company

Regarding why he was murdered in some detail. Borellis remarks leading to him being whacked was Castellano resembled Frank Perdue.
