You are 100% correct about putting things in perspective. Nobody in their right mind behaves that way. So, when a couple posters on this board pose that idiotic question of "You wouldn't say what your saying to the guy's face", it is meaningless and has nothing to do with the relative strength or weakness of the current Outfit in 2019. Now, as far as someone being afraid of getting killed by the Outfit for being an Informant, that is an entirely DIFFERENT topic.

He’s all of five feet i doubt many people would be afraid of him in a physical confrontation if you didn’t know who he was. Sure he’s killed many people but that was many years ago. He’s just an old short Italian and if you recall from the mandell trial he has refused to approve hits in recent years. But I still would never take the chance of offending him. He’s treated with much deference by people and based on his reputation from 25 years ago people are still afraid of him
