I know that , And I remember an article written years back about the "New" Sicilian bosses who were younger and in the article it had a part that was written about there being Gays amongst the Younger and New sicilian bosses being Metrosexual and Bi and some who were thought to be living a Homosexual lifestyle . There have been literally two or three articles, including this one, over the past 15 years that have talked about some odd gangster being gay, wearing drag, etc. Out of thousands of mafiosi in Italy. And they're not only talking like it's a common thing but it's also become widely accepted. The media has done the same crap with the female relatives of mafiosi, making it sound like women leading clans has become a common thing.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of bosses, captains etc look the other way if they know someone is gay but they're bringing in money, as long as they're not living it openly.
