Don't give me your f***ing Manson lamps.
Re: Gambino bust . Campos , martino
Martino should have paid the government about $250K-$500K per year after his release in restitution. That would have been enough money to let them keep him on the streets to keep their money coming in.

Before anyone asks, yes Campos is really Italian.
Didn't these guys steal like half a billion dollars a while back? If I did that I would have fucking retired.

is it the crew once led by frank locascio? is tore locascio still active?
Re: Gambino bust . Campos , martino
Seems like there is a lot of money around to invest in the construction business. Makes sense why they continue to be successful with their construction interests. Union partnerships also seems to be more common then one would think.
Seems like they are mainly an economic threat today , fighting with the govt across the board on who gets that tax / vig
It’s still a little shocking how vast their construction interests still are today

Same crew. No idea about Tore. Wasn't the word that he is living in Florida now?

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

Good find.
This case is a good reason why construction will outlast every other kind of industry racket. There are so many ways to cheat and steal.
I assume George Campos is related to Andrew? Brother?
Reading through the indictments and complaint, seems Lopez leaned on the CW too hard with the vig and wanting a no-show job. Also banging the guy's head on the door jam in front of his wife probably didn't help.

All roads lead to New York.

George is Andy's father
Re: Gambino bust . Campos , martino
Yeah it's his father. George is 72.
Campos and his crew meeting with other Gambinos to discuss Cali's murder. The family had as much clue as anyone else about what happened. Different theories flying around I'm sure it put guys on edge because of everybody being in the dark over it.
The spotlight has been on the family this whole year from the Cali murder which dominated news headlines like we havent seen in ages to a high profile bust on the Sicilians. They've had one hell of a run this last decade I just wonder if its all going to come crashing down.

Maybe Martino flips ? He has a shit ton of money and it's his 2nd high profile arrest and indictment. Seems to be going the installment plan route

"Two mob soldiers were caught on a wiretap discussing the slaying of a Mafia boss on Staten Island — with one calling it “a good thing” because their captain would likely gain power as a result, federal prosecutors said Thursday."
"After referring to the “news” and saying he’d read a “short article,” Fiore told Ciaccia that it was “a good thing” because they both reported to captain Andrew Campos, 50, whose power within the Gambino family was likely to rise in the wake of the murder,” court papers say."
