These figures are percentage compared to population so a city like NY which has the most individual Italian Americans doesn't make the list because of low percentage compared to population of city.

It seems that the italian population in some of these places are larger than I thought, especially Bronx, Queens and some places in Brooklyn.eboli wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 12:14 am Here's a census report for New York from a few months ago.

It just that New York and some of these places have grown great in numbers by other immigrants that the italians seem less and there are no more italian enclaves. But their numbers are still significant.

surprised there's no town in rhode island on this list
Re: 2019 Cities with highest percentage of Italian Americans
In 2000 there were 59,112 people of italian descent living in Bensonhurst. In the 1970's they were roughly double that number, so a big majority.scagghiuni wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 11:06 aminteresting, how many italians in bensonhurst in the 1960s?eboli wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 12:14 am Here's a census report for New York from a few months ago.
