Everybody who's active that's left on the streets is in the Administration according to Burnstein. There's (1) Boss (3) Underbosses (3) Street Bosses & (5) Consigliere's -a term never even used by the Outfit. Great report.

I think the anonymity of sources is important, so I disagree with you there, but I wish he would at least address the validity of these sources. I know I’m not in the same league as Gangster Report, but I get a few people who I deem “sources,” although I won’t publish anything they write unless they’ve been proven right before, or I can credit their validity.

Then again, I’m not dealing with any “top-secret” or high-risk sources like actual wiseguys or feds.

My problem along with you and several others, is that Burnstein makes the Outfit way too "top heavy" for some small little group of maybe 15 to 18 ACTIVE guys on the street. Also, he has a pattern of "sensationalizing" everything to make it more interesting. The Outfit, as we all know, never even used this "Consigliere" title. Accardo & Ricca NEVER had a "Title" called Consigliere". That is a New York term applied to Chicago. His Reports are all tailored to follow a New York pattern plus he adds in other things.
