Re: Mob Talk Sitdown 33
Persiano scammed a lot of people with his companies who were just ordinary civilians, like little old ladies.
That's pretty repulsive , even by Mob standards. Always remember , there's no honor amongst thieves. If you guys think else, you have seen way too many movies.

Does anyone know anything about Vincent Grosso? I know the Grassos but don’t know anything about this Vince grosso guy that supposedly got his button. I’m keeping my ears peeled about anything on him tho

I've seen Grosso's name mentioned in internet talk as having possibly been inducted in 2015 but nothing official about him from anywhere. Think he's been in a couple of photographs with Merlino that people have found on social media

At the same time we've seen just about everyone mentioned as a candidate for the 2015 ceremony in various articles and forum posts. Accardo, Baldino, Anthony Borgesi, Grosso, the Salvos... Too difficult to say until we get something tangible from a Mob Talk, an indictment, a court document, press release...

I'd say Dom and Philly Ligambi and apparently Ant Borgesi from the photo must have got down while Joey was away. Makes sense that Joe would make those guys and be reluctant about making others until Joey got out. It would also make sense that Joey would make a number of guys after he got out to make up for the attrition over a 12 year period of time.

And there is a precedent for making guys at weddings. I think Blackie Napoli and Patty Specs both got made by Bruno at a wedding in Newark in the early 60's.

Re: Mob Talk Sitdown 33
Seems doubtful to me that the Staino wedding was a making ceremony and Grande and Anthony Borgesi must have been there as associates. The two meetings in North Jersey described in the Licata detention memo happened in May and October 2010 and I think it was the latter (which Ligambi wasn't present for) where Licata mentioned that there had been two making ceremonies since 2001 (the 2007 Esposito/ Fazzini ceremony and the batch of 5 c.2004/2005). The Staino wedding was I think June 2010 and as we know from the photographs Licata was there and I doubt he would have forgotten about it within 4 months.

Anthony Borgesi and Vito Malgeri are the 2 most likely for the 2015 ceremony since they were IDed as proposed members in previous years. Does anyone know when wedding of Tyrone DeNitis' daughter occurred? Thanks.

That is the guy's name. A longtime Philly Associate going back to the Bruno days. Contrary to popular perception the name Tyrone is actually of Irish origin.

A bit off topic. I've made the mistake to listen to Jeff Lowman's latest Q&A to see if he has any hot takes on the information from Mob Talk 33, since he was the first to break the news around Narducci's latest indictment. He doesn't say anything outside his usual rants and name calling.
What caught my attention is near the end of his video he answers questions, as the mafia expert that he is, and he discussed the "Grossio Crime Family" a.k.a. the "Atlanta Crime Family" with their two factions and 50 made members.
