On the subject of Italian rap music here are two songs by Co'sang. They are also involved in some of the music in the series Gomorra. These guys remind me of the lost boys in Naples that Roberto Saviano writes about in his books.Lupara wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2019 5:55 pmThey use lots of rap music in Gomorra.scagghiuni wrote:in south italy anyway the rap is not popular, they listen to neomelodic music that consists of traditional neapolitan songs, most of this singer ar linked to organized crimeVillain wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2019 12:25 am Many old European gangs back in the centuries had their own songs regarding their everyday life that were sang in bars and stuff, and so it's a similar thing. In Mexico a few years ago there was a band that would write and sing songs about one of the narco's down there. I guess they must have thought they were doing good for themselves by doing that. They would perform live in bars. One weekend they played at some bar and a team of armed guys showed up and shot and killed them all while they were performing on stage. No one was ever arrested. The shooters all got away and disappeared. No one knows if this came from the narco they liked to sing about or one of their favorite narco's rivals. It was intended to send a message but no one knows from who or what exactly was being conveyed. I don't know the article title or date but here is a link to the web page this story came from. The exact story would be a few years old by now. I am sure it is archived.Villain wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2019 12:25 am Many old European gangs back in the centuries had their own songs regarding their everyday life that were sang in bars and stuff, and so it's a similar thing. Back in the days when I was a kid, there was also one Mexican metal band known as Brujeria and there were a lot of mysteries surrounding those same fellas, meaning in the criminal sense

I agree and I also love all of the volumes, and yeah your're right regarding some German company being responsible for the release. Nothing unusual since the Italian Mafia also has many interests in that same country.johnny fazool wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2019 7:39 pmThat music was pretty good. Italian folk music. I cant believe Candice Owens was not only mentioned in here, but also defended as ‘smart’ lmao
she’s nothing but a shill, being paid by a PAC to regurgitate conservative talking points. it seems novel and exciting to some people, because she’s black. there are dozens of smarter and better black conservatives or black independents out there who critique neo liberals without licking the ass of PACs . Candice is asking “her people” to trade one failed ideology for another. theres nothing smart about her other than the money she’s making being a successful grifter

That's what I was thinking Maxie. After all that explanation maybe it was just a matter of them being any good and it was considered a mercy killing. That's a bad joke.
Re: John Alite, Rapper
Thanks Villain that was a nice song. A person doesn't have to understand the language in order to like or appreciate the music. Although it certainly helps and adds an entire dimension to the experience of listening to it. But it is not a required requisite to simply enjoy listening to the music even if you don't understand what is being said.Villain wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 1:34 amI agree and I also love all of the volumes, and yeah your're right regarding some German company being responsible for the release. Can you imaging if someone did not know or understand what is being said in these songs and they have a pizzeria or Italian restaurant and that same person doesn't speak or understand Italian either. Then they decide to use this music as pipped music for the restaurant because they naively think its just Italian songs and it sounds good and would enhance the ambiance of the place. While customers you go there who do understand Italian get pissed off or offended by what is being said in the songs and then judge the pizzeria owner because they think these are his sentiments as well. After all he's playing the songs. And then they take him to task for having that kind of music threaten to not come back. Or worse yet the ones who get offended who don't say anything and leave and then sabotage the place at a later time. The possibilities are endless. Enjoy the tunes.

sure, but that has nothing to do with anything I said. she’s a grifter. there are plenty of other legit “black conservatives” and better yet, independents out there who are essentially trying to do the same thing as her, without being paid by TurningPointUSA to parrot whatever they want saidEtna wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 7:58 amAnd the democrats have done such a great job in Baltimorenewera_212 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 7:20 am I cant believe Candice Owens was not only mentioned in here, but also defended as ‘smart’ lmao

Re: John Alite, Rapper
Did anyone check out that Vice documentary??
El Kommander has lyrics like " we carry ak47s and buzookas and kill our enemies n we love it." And it all sounds like typical mariachi music at ur local mexican restaurant.

You seem to be insinuating...based on what again?...that she isn't sincere in the views she holds. And her "conservative talking points" seem generally correct. I'm not sure what "failed ideology" you're referring to.newera_212 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 7:20 am I cant believe Candice Owens was not only mentioned in here, but also defended as ‘smart’ lmao
