Seems all the stories have very few details. This may not be mob related at all but it is interesting the two shootings at La Nova were exactly 2 months apart (July 18/Sept. 18)

They haven't released the 24 year old's identity who was shot in July, so I'm not holding my breath they will release a name on this one anytime soon.

24 year old was probably some gang member or some other stupid shit like that. 37 year old could be same case but has a higher chance to be related to something else than the 24 year old.

Mark Peretz (convicted in the infamous California Sandwiches shooting case that targeted Siclian mafioso Michele Modica) was shot at again this past July 31, the news of which is just coming out now. On August 8 (maybe August 7), an Abraham Diles was shot at.

The name of the murder victim has not yet been released because law enforcement has yet to notify his next of kin. More details would have to emerge to determine whether this shooting is related to Italian organized crime.
