Important to note that when Massino testified, he claimed that the commission hadn't met since November of 1985 prior to 2000. He evidently didn't recognize/aware of the 1988 and 1993 meets.
I thought it was Benny Eggs that attended the 1988 meeting with Chin.
And, unless I'm remembering it wrong, I thought Massino said that the Commission hadn't met since 1985. In other words, he didn't consider any of the meetings (including the one he oversaw in 2000) as legitimate Commission meetings.

Yeah, you're right. Updated.
Re. Massino, I already noted those points at the top.

Oh, I thought you were saying Massino considered the 2000 meeting legit. My mistake.

Oh actually I thought Massino was saying that the Jan 2000 meetings was the first Commission meeting since 1985, meaning that Massino found the one he chaired as boss legitimate.
According to simon crittle's book, Sal Vitale testified that he attended 6 commission meetings while Massino was in jail. And that Pete Gotti filled in for John. Is Sal wrong or lying? Or is Massino lying?
