JOSEPH (JOE PARKER) MORSELLINO - born 1928 in Brooklyn (Ridgewood section). By the mid-1960’s he had relocated to Atlantic Beach, an exclusive oceanfront community in Nassau County (126 Eldorado Street). The nephew of a senior high-ranked “capo di decina” in the old Bonanno Family named Vincenzo Morsellino of Elmont (a suspected top-level narcotics importer). “Joe Parker” was considered a Bonanno “associate” and the driver-confidant of his uncle Vincenzo, who lived only a few miles away. Morsellino was repeatedly questioned by federal agents and made several appearances before a Nassau County grand jury investigating various gangland killings during the ongoing “Banana War”, coming under scrutiny because of his uncle’s alleged role as a “peacemaker” and “advisor” during the family turmoil. His criminal activities, if any, were not documented by authorities. He had only one arrest for attempted bribery of a police officer. Morsellino was convicted on a conspiracy to bribe count, but not jailed.... with his uncle Vincenzo retiring and moving back to Sicily, “Joe Parker” seems to have faded from the mob scene. If he did stay active, he must have kept his head mighty low, because nothing more was ever heard from him again. No dod was available.

I didn't know it completely because I'm not interested by Roy DeMeo at all. Thank you for the information !

MURAD (MICKEY COCO) NERSISSIAN - born 1922. By mid 1965 he was already residing in Wantagh (3673 Howard Lane) in Nassau County.

Activities: narcotics, counterfeiting (currency), extortion, bookmaking, strong-arm enforcer.

Criminal record: by 1968, he had been arrested seven times on: robbery, bookmaking (twice), possession and sale of counterfeit money, possession of heroin, possession of guns, disorderly conduct.
Convicted for: robbery (3 years), bookmaking (twice), possession of counterfeit money (3 years), possession of heroin (8 years), possession of guns (3 years).

“Mickey Coco” started out aligned with the Bonanno Family, serving as a close associate to underboss Frank (Frankie T) Mari, until Mari went missing in 1969, and is presumed to have been murdered, along with acting consigliere Michael (Mikey Adams) Adamo. Nersissian was one of a group who joined with Mari in an attempted takeover of the family leadership.

During the late 1960’s through the mid 1970’s, Nersissian was hauled before several Nassau County mob grand juries, one of which was investigating the Bonanno war and Mari’s disappearance. He was cited in 1970 for contempt of court.

By late-1969, he eventually fled from Long Island, relocating up to the New Rochelle section of N.Y. (1 Bloomingdale Road), trying to keep a lower profile......

.....it didn’t work for long!
By 1977 he was one of many mob figures from several mafia families indicted in the $9,000,000. “bust-out” (bankruptcy fraud) of the popular Westchester Premier Theatre.
A new, top venue for entertainment in those northern communities. Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and other top performers played the venue.... but it had been a mob scam and “cash cow” from the start!
They were charged in its collapse, and the looting of millions. Criminal counts included; racketeering, conspiracy, stock and bankruptcy fraud, obstruction of justice.

Carlo Gambino and Frank Tieri - heads of two of the most powerful families in the country gave their tacit approval, and even showed up for its grand opening. (Anthony Gaggi, Gregory DePalma, Louis Pacella, mob rat -Jimmy Fratianno and Richard Fusco were among the Mafia glitterati who invested and were indicted).

Subsequent to that, he was also thrown into a big narcotics case that involved several top mafiosi.

Although clearly not of Italian heritage (he was Armenian), “Mickey Coco” Nersissian was a trusted (he spent over 25 years in prison) and valued mob figure, close to many top mafiosi through the years........
(he might have switched family affiliation after Mari was killed, he was never connected to the Bonanno activity again).

Today, if still alive, he would be about 97 years old!...... no dod is available.

GEORGE DI BENEDETTO - born 1927.
Resided in Islip, in Suffolk County (44 Milton Street).

By 1966 he was identified as a Bonanno Family “associate”, who was “allied” with Colombo Family soldier Frank (The Bug) Sciortino in a children’s charity racket operated on Long Island in 1966.

Di Benedetto had a police record of seven arrests for: policy, bribery, sale of heroin, assault, grand larceny, scheming to defraud.
He was convicted of selling heroin (three years in federal prison), a reduced charge of bribery conspiracy, scheming to defraud for the charity racket (two years).

No more was heard from Di Benedetto after being paroled on the fraud sentence. No dod available.

This guy does not see to have been anything at all Mafia-wise, even as an associate.

I agree Bert. He had a very serious record (heroin and bribery), but other than the one tie-in with Frank the Bug, he doesn’t seem to have been to “connected”.

LCNbios does a great breakdown of the DeMeo crew hits. Patrick is #17, and it says ' Stole jewelry from DeMeo acquaintance, refused to return it.'
