A murder for hired or accidently killing.
The only examples that come to my mind was ralph dols (a husband of Cacace ex wife) and the nun killed in the early 1990s by Colombo men. But was the 1990s and now?

A Chicago area business man named Jim Gerage was kill in 2016. LE says it could be Outfit related. Nothing has come out if he is a civilian or an associate.
