Three more Montenegrians were arrested in connection to this drug bust. Boško Marković (37), Aleksandar Kavaja (25) and Nenad Ilić (39) they are all from Kotor and close to Montenegro mafia clans.

They said on the news it was headed for Europe, one report said it was going to Amsterdam. It originated in South America where it made several stops. I wonder if law enforcement were tracing it all along or really discovered it in Philly.

It makes no sense to send a load that big to the United States if it was destined for Europe. It's to big of a risk! The ship itself may have been heading for Europe but that load wasn't.

It would, if the authorities are watching the shipping lanes and channels... if they are paying close attention to trafficking direct from South America to the Balkans.


They would do it for the same reasons Ndrangheta was trying to use the New York ports, to create new routes in case another gets compromised

A ship going from Philly to the Balkans, probably is less scrutinized than a ship direct from Colombia to the Balkans.

This is why I cant wait for that show ZeroZeroZero....

They are going to follow a load of coke from South America, to Mexico, to New Orleans, all the way to Calabria. It should be a fascinating look....

An interesting twist to the story. I was wondering how they were discovered. It's also so tough to bribe a dog to look the other way and ignore things.
