Sodano was a dumbass. Joey and Ralph are killers, idk why sodano wouldn’t just fall in line. Sodano was hit in the North Ward of Newark NJ in the parking lot of a Senior Citizen Complex by that convicted child molester Casale under the supervision of Pete Crumb Caprio .
Re: Philly Murders 1990s
Another little rid-bit on Mikey Ice Brennan... He and Vince Iannece got into a bar fight the night or two prior to his murder. I remember they were looking at that angle, but couldn’t figure out if the two were connected or not. I always had a suspicion it was Vincent Iannece though because it went down the exact same way as the salvy Testa hit, which Vince Iannece literally helped with (vincent supposedly was a blocker and got the van for the hit and cleaned the van after they dumped him and was even named and picked up in the Salvy Testa Murder Indictment, but never tried). They killed Mikey Ice in Philly then tied him up cowboy style and rolled him up in sheets and then a carpet and then drove him across the Ben Franklin bridge and dropped him Jersey (some wooded area right outside Camden), which is done on purpose b/c the Philly detectives investigating the murder can’t cross into New Jersey. I mean if that doesn’t sound identical to the Salvy Testa hit then I don’t know!

Excerpt from a Philadelphia Daily News article by Kitty Caparella from March 30, 2000:
Sources say [Gaetano] Scafidi was threatened with murder charges in the 1990 gangland slaying of Louis "Louie Irish" DeLuca, a Scarfo associate, bar owner and drug dealer who "disrespected" Merlino and bad-mouthed Stanfa.
According to informant Sergio Battaglia, Scafidi, also known as Tommy, admitted the DeLuca murder among other crimes. He allegedly admitted:
Setting up Nicky Scarfo Jr, son of the ex-mob boss, to be shot by masked would-be assassin Merlino, on Halloween 1989. Scarfo has been in hiding in Florida and New Jersey ever since.
Naming Merlino as the failed assassin in the March 1993 shooting of then-mob underboss Joseph Ciancaglini, whose brother, Michael, was set to kill Stanfa. Current mob underboss Steven Mazzone also figured in the incident.
Plotting the 1992 murder of James "Jimmy Brooms" D'Addorio with Merlino and Vincent Iannece.
And plotting unsuccessfully to kill Stanfa with Merlino, Steve Mazzone, Michael Lancelotti and the late Michael Ciancaglini.

First I've seen Vincent Iannece mentioned in the Diaddorio murder. Now it seems he was involved in the murders of Testa, Diaddorio and, possibly, Brennan

From Philadelphia Daily News, March 4, 1996:
Battaglia also told authorities that James "Jimmy Brooms" D'Addorio was shot by Michael Ciancaglini and that Scafidi told him that Vincent Iannece, Merlino and Scafidi himself plotted the murder.

Re: Philly Murders 1990s
An excerpt from a 2007 article that mentions the Anthony Turra murder:
In 1997, Turra and 14 other gang members, including his father, Anthony, were indicted on federal racketeering charges. Louie committed suicide in jail while awaiting trial and two months later, in March 1998, Anthony Turra was gunned down outside his South Philadelphia row house. The police said the mob did it and showed up at Merlino’s clubhouse to “interview” the mob boss and two of his associates. One of the reputed mob associates taken in for questioning that day was [Martin] Angelina, who was never charged although some organized crime investigators believed he played a role.

Just read somewhere that Iannece was 18 when he clipped testa. Don’t know why Scarfo would choose a kid to help take out a heavy hitter like testa.
