I don't think they knew they were being filmed and it is possible the person that the film was doing it surreptitiously somehow (a device attached under a baseball cap or something like that, maybe).

I suggest that because in the 1970's on Mulberry Street near Angelo's Restaurant and the social club next door (at the time) there used to be a guy out there posing as a homeless wino pan handler who would play the harmonica and have a shoe box on the ground in front of him to collect spare change from passerby and all the while he was working undercover making note of everything going on around him.

Most of the video appears to be taken from the vantage point of the sidewalk. When those cars pull up and straddle the sidewalk whoever is taking the film is on the sidewalk against the wall (or storefront) behind them across the street from the Ravenite. They don't appear to be aware they are being videoed. Most of the time they don't even look over, especially when they exit the cars. Completely oblivious. I don't think its because of indifference or complacency. Or at least that is how it appears to me. Ok fazool your turn.

I disagree. At one time a wiseguy is talking right at the camera guy. Also, I am no tech camera expert from the early 1980's...but who had small cameras that could attach to a baseball cap?
