Antimafia had posted a tweet I believe, something was said, that the Violis, ( much like the dad..) had lost standing behind letting an undercover in on their operations..... Is it possible this factored in as well?

WHO would this message be from?

I ask because Dom Violi was caught on tape saying Angelo Musitanos hit was " a message to Pat.....".

A message from the Musitanos? Speculation, but if so, are they Buffalo too then? Or are they independents?
.

You post great questions. The best one being - are the Luppino/Violi rivals of the Musitano group? Have they worked together in concert in the past? Did that relationship break down? Or were they always at odds with each other? In competition? Does antimafia or any of the other Canadians experts have any insight/information on this?

If information comes out proving that the father killed the son in this instance, that would qualify as one of the most insane situations in memory. Knowing how tightknit Italian/Sicilian families are, killing your own son would certainly see the father ostracized if not out right killed by other members.

There are times of peace and working together, but the Musitano's had wanted to take over Hamilton in the past, and we're planning to take out some Luppino's to do so. So I think that they have always had a significant rivalry there.

Link to obituary for Cece Luppino:

The obituary is published in the Hamilton Spectator, but a paywall will likely prevent you from finding the obituary in the online edition of the paper.

Interesting how the family doesn't name his cousins Domenico and Giuseppe Violi in the obituary.

I haven't read it yet but at least here in the states we generally don't name cousins in our obits. It's generally grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles and then name pallbearers and that's it.
If I didn't have my case coming up, I would like to come back with you gentlemen when this is over with and really lay the law down what is going on in this country.....

That explains it then. My knowledge on obituaries is extremely limited. [emoji38]

If you are so focussed and obsessed about these events as I am you become naturally suspicious of anything, lol.

Is the public in Canada inclined to help law enforcement?

Given that Rocco Luppino owns the home and he apparently lives next door, you also have to consider if the wrong target was killed.

Idk. They would be pretty dumb to get the age difference confused in a close range shooting
