Keep the sexual fantasies to yourself, bro.
Dude all my mob sexual fantasies involve Theresa Ferrara and Mari Bari (while they were still alive, natch).

Agreed. Before he devolved into self-parody he was pretty badass in general.

1. What was the full story behind the joe sodano hit? Ive read that mike virgilino and others participated, and ive also read that pete caprio participated.
2. Natale stated that he only gave one mobster a pass rather than murdering them. Anyone know who he is referring to?
3. Who did ralph induct into the family while he was boss?
I recall Natale mentioning that Joey Merlino wanted permission to kill Ron Previte cause they had a hunch he was a rat and untrustwothy but he told him to back off.
Natale was a absolute liar. I doubt Joey would ask permission at all. And think about it... joey made natale!! Actually if were talkin natales word.... he was made by Bruno and Gambino in a secret ceremony
Yea I guess everything Ralph Natale says should be taken with a grain of salt. He wasn't well liked by most of the Bruno guys or the Merlino guys. Aside from being good with union corruption he was pretty much a nobody and was at the right place at the right time. He was a Junior Soprano like boss who was taken advantage of by Joey and his friends.
Natale was far from a nobody when he got out of prison, he had a serious rep.

Ralph was the boss but didn't have the power. Think of it like Junior and Tony Soprano, Junior was the official boss but Tony was the chief on the street. Joey put Ralph up partly because of his connections and also to deflect LE attention. Look at the Previte tapes, Joey ran South Philly but also represented the family as underboss with other families. Joey did an end run around Ralph when necessary and sent him enough money to keep him happy. The more interesting question would be, when did the New York families recognize Joey (and Ralph) as boss? My guess would be each one at different times considering the state of LCN. The issue was still in flux when Ligambi becomes street boss, probably enough that Long John thought he could make a move. Enough that Ricci was willing to back Caprio in a crazy scheme to kill Joeys guys while Joey was facing trial in that coke case. The Lukes seem like the last hold out but they were even on board when Jr. got demoted.

Just checked my notes. The Natale-Russo meeting took place on Jan. 18, 1996. Natale, capo Steve Mazzone and associate Tyrone DeNitis traveled from Philadelphia to Manhattan where they met with William D'Elia. They then traveled down to Brooklyn where they were picked up by Thomas Gioeli and William Russo, where they were taken to 506 President St. - a so-called Colombo "compound" - to meet with Andrew Russo.

Natale met up with Bonanno members in NYC to discuss the Hell’s Angels-Pagans conflict in Philadelphia.

Really?? Wow. Surprising for sure.... do we know what was discussed at this meeting??
I cant really think what all three would have in business wise, maybe Atlantic City?? Bufalinos controlled a lot unions but i doubt D'Elia had anything ×ith them.... im pretty sure the fam was in full decline by that point

So Natale wasn't just Merlino's puppet after all and could stop him from ordering a hit?
Melrino boworred 15k from Ralph Natale and then boworred 15k from previte aka the fbi to give natale his money back , so merlino had at least a little respect for Ralph
I think Natale sincerely believed he was boss of Philly.
Do we know if Natale ever met with any other Families? Or if they even contacted NY about him being boss? I feel that back then Joey didnt give a shit about NY so it didnt really matter what they said. Stanfa had the okay from the Gambinos ik.
