I know what happened to every gallo's crew members,yatescj7781 what I asked is why albert and illiano go to genovese,while borriello brother was a gambino associate and cutrone and basciano stayed with colombos and died after few years; what had of special albert gallo and illiano.So joey had ties with chin back in 50s ? Wow I never know that,I believe that crazy joe gallo wasn't respected in the other families.
Read the sixth family by Pete the Greek. He goes into it. Talks about the gallos relationship with chin. Also the luparelli tapes. You will see how closely connected those guys were at one time, Sonny pinto, Sonny red, joe yac, Marty horse, Johnny footo etc etc.

Chin and the Gallo crew were friendly from way back. Joey and the crew had a bond with Chins crew from the fifties on. About like the Chin and Sonny Reds faction. Chin always had to counter the other major family the Gambinos. Gambinos backed Colombo crew, chin backed the Gallos. Gambinos backed Massino's faction, chin backed Sonny reds. Gambinos backed Bruno, chin put on the facade he was backing bananas, got Bruno whacked and then backed the tests/Scarfo guys.

Thanks Selig you well understood my question. So maybe when the book was opened again the Genoveses made Gallo and Illiano maybe both of them was sponsored by the Chin. Do you think that this flexing the muscles stay the fact to made boss scarfo sr for turn philly under genoveses flag ?

Also, as this was late 60's/early 70's may have been a flexing of muscle by Genovese Bosses. To show Carlo it wasn't all going his way

If I understand your question. The Genovese took Albert and Punchy in to their Family because they were either good earners or capable with the heavy work. Maybe both. As they started under the Chin, and ended as Capos, both may be the answer.

In the years after Joey Gallo's death part of the crew (Albert Gallo and Illiano) was made in the genoveses and Amuso was made by luccheses ehile the others remained with the colombos or wasn't made.For my curiosity for what reasons the genovese and not another family accepted to made albert gallo and illiano ? Amuso was friend of Casso so I understand because was made in the lucchese but for the others ? The Genoveses was then the most powerful so they don't need those tipe of men for fill the ranks.
