Orena got innocent people killed with his insurrection. That's a big no-no in terms of what you might call "Mob PR." Lot of apathetic general public and even some more cynical law enforcement types don't really care if these guys kill each other, but you hurt innocent people they're gonna get outraged.

Decades ago, are you high? He oversaw a war that saw 11-12 people killed. In what world should he be released decades ago?

Marcello is the biggest crock of bullshit I have ever seen. He should be at the very least moved to another prison facility to serve out his time. Keep him locked up if you choose to do so, but dont' treat him like he's on the level of someone who blew up the twin towers on 9/11.

Orena’s case is currently in the Second Circuit again. His last shot it seems because he’s been denied compassionate release and he was resentenced to life again last year, if I remember correctly
I'd be shocked if Orena was released, he has much more direct connection to murder than Manna does that the State can point to. Orena was effectively a Boss during a War that he started, Manna was a Consig. Iirc Manna wasn't convicted of murder, he was convicted of conspiring to murder none of which happened.
He's 90 y old and suffer of dementia and stay in wheelchair. Not so well respect Manna.

Yes,is still there. He killed Nicholas D'Andrea and the Spilotro brothers,so for sure he will die in prison.

That isn’t why he’ll die there though. It’s because they were plotting to hit one of the prosecutors or the judge or something, and because he was trying to control the family through his brother

Gotti's murder didn't happen, but Irwin Schiff's did.

Judge Block hinted that he would release him on compassionate grounds though I agree with you. His latest appeal stems from being resentenced to life by a new judge who took his case.
