I was looking at this FBI Organized Crime report from 1993 and it noted an LCN group connected somehow to the Rockford LCN faction- this report
erred in that it should be South Beloit and not "Benoit." It made me look a little into some connected people that lived in the Beloit, Wisconsin and South Beloit/Roscoe/Rockton, Illinois areas and these are a few I could think of:
James Abate (1912-1974) Beloit 1940s involved in counterfeiting with Frank Cordona of Chicago
Barney and Frank Alfano owned a tavern in South Beloit many years 1950s/1960s and were from Sambuca
John Anastasi (1918-2000) LCN associate, family from Marsala
Giovanni Baderi (1916-1994) South Beloit tavern owner and gambler
Calogero Boscio born 1882 Campobello di Mazzara- killed Frank Farace in Beloit 1920
Gaspare Buffa (1890-1969) born Marsala, bootlegger in 1920s South Beloit
Vito Buffa (1895-1972) born Marsala bootlegger in 1920s South Beloit
Joseph Cammarata (1890-1975) born Marsala bootlegger and front for Rockford LCN
Vincenzo Cimino born Ribera. Possible 1980s LCN front in Roscoe, Illinois
Antonio Ciulla (1939-1992) born Montelepre. 1970s/1990s owned pizzerias in Beloit and South Beloit
Phil Damiano (1902-1978) Rockford LCN member active in Beloit area 1930s-1950s, Born San Gregorio
Phil DiGiovanni (1954-) possible LCN restaurant front in Roscoe, Illinois 1980s
Domenico DiGirolamo (1893-1970) born Marsala. LCN associate
Joe DiGirolamo (1891-1965) born Marsala. LCN member
Pietro DiMichele possible LCN pizzeria front in 1980s South Beloit. Nothing known about him
Vito Gabriele (1936-1995) born Marsala. Possible LCN member and pizzeria owner
Michele Galluzzo (1941-2017) born Aragona. Along with Sal DiGiacomo owned Sam’s Pizza South Beloit
Natale Galluzzo (1936-) born Aragona. Owned property in South Beloit. Possible LCN member
Nino Germano (1913-2012) LCN associate/front owning The Manor which burned down suspiciously
Antonio Giacalone (1884-1959) born Marsala. LCN connected bootlegger in 1930s
Frank Giardono (1911-1954) family from Sambuca. Possible LCN member active in South Beloit
Pietro Girgenti (1950-2022) born Marsala. Possible LCN associate/front as a Roscoe, IL pizzeria owner
