It was an interesting discussion. I don't think he was saying they expected things to get violent, but that they could. And that he and Paul Corrado started taking more precautions and he thought a couple times he was being set up for something. But he and Paul Corrado were caught on tape talking about if things got to shooting who could they count on to back them. And they started listing names of people who would probably back them if they go to the "mattress"(and Paul Corrado did actually use that term.) But it was Nove, Paul Corrado, Paul Corrado's brother Pete, his cousin Pete Corrado, Nove's brother Joe, Jack Gianosa and an unspecified "Johnny" who I think is Johnny Sciarotta. But they also talk about how it'll never get to that point because Tony Zerilli and Tony Corrado would work it out so all their relatives aren't shooting at each other in the street.
But they're great tapes. Mentioning that Gianosa was out of prison for sure cause he was hanging out with Pete Tocco and Anthony Lapiana. And Paul and Nove talking about the difference between Jack Tocco and his brother Anthony as compared to guys like Jimmy Quasarano, Vincent Meli, Pete Vitale, Michael Polizzi and Tony and Vito Giacalone. It's an interesting read because it's a relatively modern recording of Detroit mobsters talking about Detroit mobsters and they all know each other.
