I’m not very good at navigating this site at times so apologies if this has been discussed multiple times and I’ve not seen it.
It's a longstanding rumor that Frank Bommarito's son Carlo was inducted in 1995. It appears to have originated from Jiggy's GeoCities website about the Detroit family and hasn't ever really been confirmed further.

If you have an adblocker on your browser (otherwise you're redirected to spam sites), you can still view the page where it's mentioned here

Adam wrote: Thu Jan 16, 2025 2:11 pm It's good to have at least some confirmation that Nove wasn't made(we'll get to the whole Zerilli claim later). I've always believed he wasn't formally inducted because when they are the Feds always make a big deal out of that when they become witnesses. And they would never say he was and Nove definitely never gave a description of it happening. The feds omitting any mention of him being made was pretty good evidence for me all these years that he wasn't.
I wonder if it's a similar situation to Carlo Bommarito/the 1995 ceremony - something that can be traced back to Jiggy's websites
Yeah Jiggy never let anyone know where the hell he got that '95 Bommarito making ceremony thing. But it made it into Detroit mob lore 25 years ago and never died even though no one has ever come across it since. And some of us straight up asked Ty that question multiple times.

That's a different interview. The one he links to is a little one that's like 15 minutes, but there's a paywalled one that's like 40 minutes and has all the good stuff.
Ohhh ok
Subscribed to what his website?
No it's separate from the website. Gangster Report is just Scott writing, while Original Gangsters is a podcast made by a group of guys with Scott as the host of the podcast. I wish they were bundled, but they are separate subscriptions.
Actually looks like for 10 bucks a month you can get both.

I was wondering about this, that kind of sucks.

This interview wasn't that bad though. Normally I have trouble with this WRT Detroit but I (mostly) figured out who was who in this one.

• Tocco was told that there wasn’t a Hoffa body by someone involved in the murder
Tocco means that there is no physical corpse to be discovered, the implication being that Hoffa's body was probably cremated, crushed etc.

Is Dr. James Buccellato more involved with the patreon or is he not really in the patreon content either?

Proletarian187 wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2025 2:45 pm I doubt that scenario would be seen as legit. Unless Tony Z had some deal with Tocco but I can't see that. What would an "informal" membership even look like? Being called a "friend of mine" forever?😁

Looking forward to hear him tell the story of refusing membership to Jack Toccos face. Sounds a little... too good to be true?
Yeah, it's a complex subject with the information we have now. I don't really doubt him turning down it personally, he really does not seem to have liked Jack W. and he came from a family with historical members too.

Not really much to discuss about the 40 minute interview (filmed at a different point than the linked one) as its centered around Hoffa but here is some stuff I found interesting:
• Tocco agrees that if Anthony Zerilli & Michael Polizzi were on the street, the Hoffa murder would not have happened
• Tocco says that as Joseph Zerilli became less active, the Detroit family lost its standing nationally
• Sylvia Pagano was a St. Louis LCN figure’s daughter
• Chuckie O’Brien was close with Anthony Giacalone’s “oldest son” – I believe the oldest is LCN member Joseph but Tocco instead identifies this person as Jack William Giacalone
• Tocco first met O’Brien with LCN member Anthony Dominic Giacalone in Florida
• Just prior to Hoffa’s disappearance, Tocco recalls hearing rumours that he was an FBI informant
• Scott briefly spoke to Detroit member Anthony Palazzolo shortly before his death
• Tocco says he couldn’t speculate around Palazzolo’s role as the apparent Hoffa shooter but states that he was a serious man
• Tocco knew Calogero (Carlo) Licata very well and describes him as a jovial person
• He doesn’t believe Licata committed suicide and when first told about his death, thought that “shit was about to hit the fan”
• Tocco thought Licata to be smarter than Anthony Joseph Tocco despite being “subservient” to him and Jack William Tocco (his in-laws)
• Whether or not Nicolo Licata was alive, Tocco thinks that Carlo dies in 1981 regardless
• Tocco was told that there wasn’t a Hoffa body by someone involved in the murder
• A Detroit member and onetime acting captain for Vito Giacalone told Scott that if the Hoffa murder could be redone, he would’ve just been shot in the street
- I imagine this is Frank Bommarito?
• Tocco and Anthony Zerilli “made peace” prior to his death
• Tocco would never have sworn loyalty to Jack William Tocco
Thanks a lot. I appreciate it. Some interesting stuff about Licata and Palazzolo for sure. I guess they gotta get Hoffa out of the way but I'm pretty tired of it. Mainly because I believe we know pretty much what happened.
