total miscarriage of justice. these judges have unfettered autonomy and the justice system is capricious and arbitrary.

20 years for selling a few pills? it was his personal prescription so we're talking a grand or two a month?

How do they have the discretion to put a guy away for 20 years due to their personal opinions --there is a prescribed set of parameters that these judges shouldn't be able to deviate from.

I don't care what a 80 year old WASP who was born rich and 9th generation american thinks based on god knows what. Lying Rats.

Didn't Coppola get a major win at trial? I think it was a not guilty for the murder of Ricci, maybe. But the feds ended up sticking it to him anyways.

I believe he was playing with the FBI to get his wife a good deal..and when he did then he stopped talking to the feds.

According to the article, Coppola sat down with the FBI debating flipping before his 2009 trial but ultimately decided against it. Was this something that was known?

I'm thinking of someone else then. I thought DiGilio had a protege in the Longshoremen's who rose to prominence later on...thought it was Ricci but maybe not
