I've seen several articles stating this but I wonder where it comes from? Capone did have Brooklyn roots, so I wonder if there is anything there. I personally doubt it but if anyone can figure out where myth and reality colide, its the Mob Archaeologist...... Could it just be Bonanno transported bootleg liquor from Chicago for Maranzano and Capone gets the credit for name recognition?

Has anyone found evidence of this connection? Or is it just moblore? Was there any major connection between Bonanno and Chicago after the formation of the Commission?
Bonanno talks about this in his book. The weapons had nothing to do with Capone.

Probably not because The Castellammarese were allied with Joe Aiello who was Capone's rival
