Salemme said the hardest part of all the fall out during his rico trial in 1995 96 was finding out his childhood friend flemmi was constantly snitching on him for decades but continued to be almost his best friend. That is nuts lol. Guy does 15yrs flat for blowing up the lawyer flemmi welcomes him home probably gives him start up money and rackets and immediately is telling the fbi all salemmes plans

Correct, Flemmi definitely gave up Salemme’s location in NYC. To try and blame it on Baby Shacks is funny

and the search of their apartment revealed phone numbers from Canada.

Cadillac Frank’s mother was Mary Bridget Haverty, who was of Irish and Scottish ancestry. His father was Romeo Pasquale Salemme, who was born in 1909 in Weymouth, MA. Romeo’s parents were Alessio Salemme and Annarella Capone, both of Mirabella Eclano, Avellino.

Here's an article about Frank Salemme's background which include his parents https://mafiahistory.us/a047/f_salemme.html it looks like that his mom was Irish and his dad was Italian.

Also according to this court filing about the Salemme case a FBI agent said that Manocchio guessed that Mercurio was an informant https://casetext.com/case/us-v-salemme-6 so it looks like Manocchio correctly guessed who were the informants such as Mercurio and Flemmi. Was it just a lucky guess or something else?
