His other son John was also a member. He died in 2008 (cancer I believe).

Just Angelo Jr as far as I'm aware.

I always thought that those guys that got clipped during Gottis tenure the known ones at least, like DB, Louie DiBono was all a plan from Sammy to take over their rackets.
Sammy had a lot of money by that time.If he really was manipulating Gotti, he would have been dead.I don’t believe that Sammy was instigating the murders
Gotti is on tape complaining about Sammy killing his partners and being too greedy . Sammy said these tapes are what led to him flipping.
I remember in Gravano’s book Underboss, he also adds that on the tape when Gotti was complaining to Locascio about Sammy, Locascio tells Gotti that Sammy is downstairs and that Gotti should speak to him about it but Gotti replies with something like tomorrow I will do it but of course, he didn’t do it.The tapes caused an issue between them at the MCC in Manhattan

Casso wasn’t underboss yet technically it was 86’ when this happened I believe. Can anyone comment on his official status in the family at this time?
I was under the impression Casso was never a captain but actually a soldier direct with Tick Furnari...
From Casso's senate testimony:

In 1986, Tony Ducks went to jail so he had to name a new boss. I became a 'capo' in 1986. After discussions within the family, Tony Ducks made Vic Amuso the boss at the end of 1986. At the end of 1987, Vic told me I was the new consiglieri. Then, in 1989, Vic named me the underboss of the family.
Interesting in that testimony Casso says he met Amuso in the early 70s, and says he was made in 74 and that Amuso was made in 77.

If Paul had the tapes and was pushing Dellacroce to decide, then the stalling is what got him killed. But in hindsight, bad as it sounds, how lucky is Paul to have got hit in the street then to have died in prison...I mean he was only around 70 when he died so he would have definitely been convicted with the other bosses and at least did 5-10 years of the hundred before he died naturally behind bars...The hit at Sparks happened so fast I doubt the guy felt a thing before he passed...

I think even before he stepped off to boss he knew. Even as acting captain for Charlie Wagons, that Bergin Hung & Fish Crew was deep into narcotics. He just turned a blind eye as long as he was getting his dough. He wasn’t a member of the crew but I remember a video Sammy posted about Patsy Conte had a meeting with Gotti & Sammy about him dealing drugs. If I remember correctly they said, try not to get caught & make sure I get my cut.
