I think Hootie married LaBarca's sister. Not sure what Hootie did to him, but for whatever it's worth, LaBarca was caught on tape admitting to his own participation in a planned and coordinated first degree murder - and Hootie wasn't the person who was taping.

When Mike got arrested, we all got to listen to his discovery recordings and we got to hear DiGilio's son, Jeff, who woke up one day and decided to wear a wire for the feds to get revenge on the people who killed the father he never knew. That scumbag Jeff never paid his bills. Had a few dealings with him during the time he was a big shot snitch.
