But like I've said previously I wouldn't be surprised if some of them have been taken down off the shelf already. You put them on the shelf to embarrass them and take all their earning abilities away. Make them suffer for a while then see who sends a message thru a back channel wanting to work something out. Divide and conquer.

Of course they would be. There's no way you could get 100% of them but you get enough.

Well, If you want to compare wild bill and the Colombo’s killing him, to mancuso shelving 3 important and Influential family members(not so sure how worthwhile Vito’s son is) … look how that ended for the Colombo’s…… they would have been a millions times better of having wild bill take over the family, guy was well liked, had a portion of his personality that was caring and wasn’t 100 percent piece of shit cosa nostra 24/7… had good relationships with other families , monster earner and crew…. Pros and cons of getting rid of him are pretty obvious… Allie boy panicked cause he knew cutolo had way more charisma and better leadership qualities than him and would easily take over when Allie boy had to go do time on that gun charge… Colombo’s were never the same and I think that murder had a lot to do with it…
Same with mancuso… him shelving Saunders, porky and Grimaldi all cause he’s insecure about losing the top spot, cause he obviously knows Saunders must have been doing a good job and probably got jealous hearing good feed back or something about how he was doing a good job as acting boss… I just think taking it personal and letting his ego and feelings get in the way is an amateur move, he’s straight making choices out of anger/emotion…. That family would be much better if it still had Saunders in control of it…

How did Mancuso ever get the support/ pull to have the reigns on the family in the first place??? Especially when he was locked up???? I don’t know… to me both decisions were horrible ones… and I don’t think mancuso is boss material…

Well its important to consider that Mancuso is a killer and a feared guy. He has been tied to at least 3 murders and he’s likely been involved in more. After Joe Massino flipped the family was in desperate need of a leader. Mancuso just so happened to be at the right place at the right time and he had enough respect to take the big seat.

I will give you that, mancuso is a known killer… porky first act of violence that I know of is when they roughed up the ci who was calling porkys grandchild racial slurs because it’s half black… and I’ve heard varying things about Saunders … someone who grew up with him said he was a pussy who would run to his dad.. but you know how one sided those opinions can be,, cause other people have told me he’s tough with his hands… not sure about any murders but I know porky got 0… also don’t know about Vito Grimaldi, I’m sure he put in work back I. The day cause he’s an old timer… anyone have any more info on his son??? Who also got shelved with them??

Yeah, Porky was a HUGE earner I heard from that NY post article and Capeci. However, it is possible Mancuso took control of Porky's operation?

I completely agree. He shelved those guys who were acting administration and, like you said, that’s a lot of money. Just because they took a plea plus he put the Grimaldi’s on the shelf and they have connections with the Sicilians.
