Considering members could be made as young as 13 in Sicily and 17 in the US, there were likely some very young bosses especially in Sicily. Childhood didn't stretch into the teen years like it did later and boys quickly became men.

Six years later, or at the age of 32 he became boss of the Chicago family and received a seat on the commission. So Capone became official boss of Chicagos CN at the age of 32, NOT 26

I think those days it was more like a big gang, they really became organized in the 40s where they started manipulating government officials & stuff, that’s what made them gain so much power & become highly organized
