Was Armone the guy brought in for questioning after Rothstein was killed? And then he was killed soon after?
Steve Armone was a high-ranking member of the Gambino Family. Here's a Wiki article on him: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Armone

Armone and Luciano were friends who grew up together on the same street. They were not competitors at all. They may have been partners on the stash
It's hard to know what their relationship was back then. Luciano was a young member of the Joe Masseria Family and Armone was probably with Toto D'Aquila. Luciano actually lived in D'Aquila territory. The Riccobonos and Biondos were based in the area of 11th to 13th Streets. I think Umberto Valente lived in that area too.

Was Armone a competitor of his?

Where was Armones heroin coming from, anyone know?

I was always under the impression these guys had that to themselves after Rothstein, Luciano-Lansky- Lepke...... were there other big players in the dope trade then?

That's an important distinction, as Luciano didn't reveal a cache of heroin that belonged solely to him but also belonged to other mafia associates.

I've seen that rumor on the internet, it may have been Armone's since they were close in age and grew up together, and got into the Maifa around the same time. He did not give up Armone or anyone else. The one flaw with that story is they would have not let him off after that (The FBN) unless they kept it to see themselves.
My source for this info is the FBN.

Another smart ass comment from you made for no good reason.
Sonny is just one of them way out dudes that can't really contribute anything so he has to make some dumb ass comments that have generally no relevance.

He's one them guys that just wants to point out flaws all day. But I hear that's what happens when ur 40 still working at McDonald's and living with Mama.

Villain wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2020 1:44 am Wasnt Luciano labeled as snitch when he was just a teenager? Im not stirring up shit here because other "legendary" Mafia big shots did the same thing when they were young, such as Louis Campagna who in turn informed on his friends regarding a robbery which occurred in 1918 in Chicago, which also was probably the main reason for his transfer to Brooklyn NY at the time, and later returned to Chicago in 1928
Not as a teen, it stemmed from him giving up his own stash, as was mentioned above. I don't know of Capagna's case, but I can't understand Brooklyn taking in a known rat from another city, I have to look him up.
