Going off topic a lil here , Over on McDonald ave. in BK Gravesend etc . There is alot of Albanian activity , Albanian Social clubs , Cafes, And businesses . I dunno if they've taken over some of the street stuff from Gams and Colombos who were historically notorious in the area as there is definitely Italian mob associates, Or Italians in general at these places at times. I've been around these places in passing and definitely hear people speaking both Italian and albanian
Does anyone know who from the Colombo’s is still active around Avenue U area?
I would figure theres Colombos around that area as there's some Clubs/Cafes that were frequented by Colombos . I just heard a rumor/Street talk BS from an older guy who operates a big Auto parts distributorship whos an ex cop that he supposedly knows Johnny cash Azzarelli and friends of his and said Cash was made recently which I have no idea if true or not ? He also said Dominic Logozzo was also recently made and some kid Mike Pimpinella who is in his early 30s were all inducted recently , This person ex cop says he grew up with John Baudanza and said John is also making alot of moves recently and has a nice following of guys in they're 20s which he calls the Bay Pkwy juniors lol...Again don't quote me on any of this as I have no clue if it's True ?? Just your regular Gossip and street talk for whatever its worth
If Dominic Logozzo is made, that must mean that his brother-in-law/business partner (and Colombo soldier) Craig Marino is still active, at least enough to propose Logozzo for induction (unless Logozzo has another sponsor). Following his 2016 release from prison, it appeared Marino made a full time resettlement to Florida. Perhaps Logozzo is overseeing Marino's rackets for the time being. Marino had a lot going on in his heydey, and Logozzo was involved in a lot of legitimate businesses with him, including a golf club.
If John Baudanza is making a lot of moves, I wonder if it's a fully-Lucchese family gig or if there is some crossover with his 72-year-old brother Joseph Baudanza, whose status is unknown since his 2011 release from prison.
