Yea, They were bleeding him dry with the intention of making him and placing him in the Corrozzo crew to continue to bleed him dry . And, Once a guy is kicking up that much he's expected to keep that amount going every month no matter what ! In the early 2010s, Bonanno ruling panel member Vinny Asaro considered inducting a crew member named Robert "Bam" Cotrone, but decided against it because it meant he wouldn't be able to bleed as much money from him. So yeah, I think being inducted gives you some sort of protection even against your own capo, especially if you can reach out to someone else in the family to start a beef.

And if he woulda made this guy Holy christ forget it , Bam of Bams Auto body collision and Towing on Liberty ave in Ozone ok was a huge target of shake downs and extortion from different crime families and members over the years. At that specific time he was protected and under Asaro. He was probably literally the last guy on earth to get made , That would of been the most laughable thing any of these guys did making him
There's been lots said about that guy over the years but one time in particular supposedly in the 90s sometime Al Trucchio crew member John Brancaccio went in the office of the auto body and Tow looking for Bam cutrone and allegedly tried killing him over a debt by shotgunning his way through the office firing off a few shots and ultimately partially hitting Bam and a desk worker
