Would anyone want to work together to request wiretaps?

Would anyone want to work together to request wiretaps?

Post by Nasabeak »

Let’s be honest, Files are very interesting, and they do tell a lot about the organizational structure of the various Families. But a file doesn’t tell you much about a guy beyond what he does. A tape tells a lot - how he sounds. What his thought patterns are, as expressed by speech and speech patterns. What his mannerisms are. With just photos and files, we have an idea of these people - but it’s just a sketch.

The government has recorded thousands and thousands of hours of tape at our expense on these fellows.

Before they degrade into nothing, I propose that we work together to try to target select wiretaps of some high profile figures. While obtaining all tapes of all guys would be an impossible and extremely expensive task, I think that getting 1 or 2 tapes of a few guys could be feasible and reasonable to do.

For example, getting one complete tape (say 30 minutes of audio) of Castellano, or an unreleased Gotti tape - or any Carlo Gambino or Luciano audio that may still exist - something like that. Limited, but enough to give an insight into the figure

The government reported they had around 900 hours I believe of Gotti and 400 hours of Castellano. Given those are relatively recent and of higher quality audio and recorded in mediums that could be easily transcribed today, there’s a chance the tapes haven’t degraded into noise; and might not be very expensive to obtain

I think if a few of us worked on this together we could get it done

What do you think?

Great question for B or Antillar
"I figure I’m gonna have to do about 6000 years before I get accepted into heaven. And 6000 years is nothing in eternity terms. I can do that standing on my head. It’s like a couple of days here."
