Most Successful Capos

Post by bn »

Who do you guys view as the most successful Capo Di Decina in the history of the Five Families who remained a capo and never rose above? If one served in a ruling panel or acting boss, I don't think that would count either.

I think a few picks for me would be Richie Boiardo, Toddo Marino, and Joe Lucchese.

What do you guys think?

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

Mario did rise to Acting UnderBoss so he wouldn't count.

Anthony Scotto for the Gambinos. He ran the Brooklyn docks for decades back when that was a real money making business.

Jimmy Brown also rose to Acting UnderBoss for Carlo Gambino and then the ruling panel for Gotti.

I don't think Ormento ever rose above Capo. Joe Lucchese was briefly the Acting Boss so he wouldn't count.
