I found some articles claiming that some of the mob-related killings targeting Calabrians were connected to the Rizzutos, for instance the killing of Carmine Verduci was described as a Rizzuto revenge by this article, while I remember reading on this forum that it was probably a part of a feud between the Figliomeni/Coluccio clans within the Siderno Group itself. https://www.thestar.com/news/crime/2014 ... ridge.html
Also someone on youtube claimed that the Musitano brothers were clipped by the Rizzutos as well, and his evidence was that one of the killers Danny Ranieri was connected to the Rizzuto family. this article even says that he was the boss of the Rizzuto Toronto crew. https://gangsterreport.com/going-over-t ... -fugitive/
What is everyone's take on these killings and do you think they were connected to the Rizzutos at all?

There have been a few meetings between Montreal mobsters and Ontario mobsters that have been documented. But I don't think there's been any actual evidence that the violence in either Province has came from either side.

I think the only example of a link to Montreal (not even the Rizzutos) was the people who stabbed the Luppino cousin in Natale's house back in 2018.

I'd suggest reading the 5-part article by Nicole O’Reilly that Anti shared here. It seems he was working in conclusion with Tony Iavarone for the attempted murder of Saverio Serrano and the murder of Angelo Musitano. This 5-part article mentions that after both hits phone calls were placed to Ranieri, Tony & Joe Iavarone and someone in NY. The Adrian Humphreys article I linked is more or less the same but it mentions a call went to NYC specifically unlike the other article.

I believe Ranieri's link to the Rizzutos was mainly through Juan Fernandez, who acted as a mentor to Ranieri. I've seen some speculate that after Juan was murder Ranieri was on his own and/or aligned more with the Ontario mobsters. But honestly I'm not too sure where he stood. Maybe someone else who knows more could shine light on that.
