Hi, can you guys give me some info on "Red Hot" who was fixture in the 11th and 1st street area. Always around DeRobertis, LAnzas, Veniero;s, the block that has the mosque now. I know he is dead and his wife lives in a mitchell lama apt on Fulton Street. Thanks

Genovese guy I believe. Dropped dead in front of DeRobertis of a massive heart attack. Capeci talked about him in a piece awhile back.

The robbery mentioned by Capeci happened in June 1964. Enrico Gentile, Salvatore Calcagano and Gerald Neueloff robbed a bar owner in front of his bar at 321 Van Horne Street in Jersey City. They snatched $12k, but didn't bother to switch cars or cover the plates of their getaway vehicle, so they got arrested 10 minutes later.
