The mob should officially add being an informant to their rackets -- free money - no risk. Goldmine.

Agree. It’s bullshit.
Didn’t this guy say he was a professional gambler as well when he was barred?

This guy didn’t put away murderers on our streets, no MS13, cartel mass murderers or even H slingers. Just some bullshit white collar crime and gambling.

The waste of resources is what sickens me. Whose more a danger to society? Patsy Parello, or some Mexican cartel heroin importer.

Chasing headlines or careers, but doing no good FBI.
Don't give me your f***ing Manson lamps.

It also sends a message that these guys can do whatever they want....the government's got your back. So, you get your soft sentence...why bother following the rules because you'll get off anyway. How the judge decides will set precedent.

So true... in my suburban town a few weeks ago the cops pulled over a middle aged Mexican couple and they ended up having 5 kilos of heroin on them and like 40 grand cash... they were out on bail same day...
another idiot I read about in the same suburban town... had 13 pounds of meth, and few ounces of heroin, 2 firearms as a felon.... he was on probation for sales.. and still also back out on the street in the same day.. these are just 2 random traffic stops! In the middle of the suburbs north of Los Angeles... imagine what’s really getting moved!!! And the meth usage these days has literally I think giving opiates a run for their money when it comes to epidemic proportions.... honestly fucking tweakers everywhere.... no joke it’s like the cartels just abandoned the Coke game all together and just got everyone on crystal instead... I’m not even kidding.. and it makes sense financially... why middle man coke for Columbians/South Americans... when you can buy mass chemicals from China for literally nothing.. and set up super labs everywhere... I’ve literally seen tjem set up a meth cook just in the middle of the desert under some camping gazebos.. and they’re left with literally pure profit just about... and they can produce it anytime anywhere, and as much as they want... no such thing as a meth shortage, you just cook more... but honestly I haven’t heard someone talk about using or selling coke in over a year or 2... it’s not on the menu anymore . Just meth...
sorry for the rant but I get where you’re coming from.. you got the feds fucking wasting so much money to take down patsy!! Oh no a senior citizen who hangs out drinking at his restaurant all day and Is involved in illegal gambling, and ordered a piece of shit to get beat up as it sounds as a favor to his customers and the neighborhood as a whole.....
It’s crazy I feel in the last few years the feds have really been striking out with their mob cases. And I think it’s hilarious. Like the “east coast Cosa Nostra enterprise” that was literally almost nothing... rooster was progdbly the most active guy, running 2 crews, doing real
Shit and he was sentenced to 30 months... not too bad If you ask me.. for being the skipper for 2 crews in the “Ivy League” of the mafia....

Also though, I’m not a fan of the war on drugs. It’s a huge failure, and that’s a proven fact....

Rubeo said in the interview that basically the whole case was about getting Merlino. He said the Feds wanted Merlino more than anyone. Seems like a genuinely bad misallocation of resources.

There’s only one way of winning the war on drugs and that’s legalizing it but I doubt first world countries would legalize Cocaine, Heroin, etc.

Oregon just passed a law that if you get caught with like personal amount of heroin, meth, cocaine, basically any hard drug.. it’s either 100$ fine of they offer you treatment ... that’s it... no jail, no even getting locked up.. I’m sure the laws more complex then that...and I don’t want to sound like a complete uninformed idiot... but that was way quick way for me to explain it...

Wonder how it’s going to work out... and if other states will follow..sometging needs to change with drug policies.. the war on drugs like I said has been a failure, completely... do I have all the answers? No... but I know when something outright just doesn’t add up.

don't forget magic mushrooms...all decriminalized though not legal per se. It won't be long before the rest of the country follows suit...maybe even a nationwide mandate at this point.

Can you believe these guys are now running a business of selling sports picks?? Alite has an Instagram alitesports or some shit where he’s selling picks. Lol.. who in their right mind would fall for that shit??? I think he was selling a package of his picks for like $1,4000... who in their right mind would give some lying scheming rat their money for his sports picks??? Honestly talk about a scam... the best is he has a whole Instagram for it.. and he has like the typical fake text messages from “clients” thanking him for the picks they bought saying how they won. Lol. It literally reminds me of the Instagram scam where peiple would claim they could “flip” your money, if you sent them 1k they could get you 5k by the end of the day. And people honestly fell for that.. it just screams scumbag scam all over it...

If you were really some sharp ass bettor I don’t think you would be handing out your picks.. almost everyone I’ve seen online who sells themselves as some sharp “professional sports bettor and sells their picks always ends up coming to light that it’s just a straight scam. If you were so good a being a “professional sports bettor” you wouldn’t have to try and get money from degenerates by selling your picks.

It is possible to walk and chew gum at the same time. They put away both LCN guys and Mexican cartel guys. And they have the fewest FBI agents devoted to the LCN at any time in history.

I'm conflicted on this. I saw it's basically ok to carry a dose
my mind just reminds me of the days when i was younger using nyc to make money

i'd carry a dose for personal use of course on me to sell, then sell it and then put another dose on me. i would pay 100 bucks with a smile its worse if you get a ticket for texting and driving or not having a seat belt on.
