Nice find and thanks for sharing this. Guess you can't take the gambler out of some guys.

"When officers approached, Paloian shoved bunches of paper in his mouth and 'fell to the ground and rolled around' until he was able to swallow them, prosecutors said." lol, that's one way to do it.

Paloian is what, Armenian?

Also, how was this guy not charged in the Hired Truck shenanigans?

Was thinking the same. Gambling busts with Outfit connected bookmakers had been relatively quiet for awhile, it's ramped up quite a bit the last two.

Just in this year alone we've had what, DelGiudice, Poeta, and now Paloian?

Also, does this guy Michael Frontier (aka "Ira Goldberg" and some other aliases) that was indicted in 2019 for running and illegal sportsbook out of Costa Rica and associated money laundering charges seem to have any Outfit ties?

Certainly seems coordinated in regards to all these gambling busts. Do we know if these were all federal indictments?

If so, that shows me the FBI is still chasing the outfit and attempting to cut off sources of revenue where possible.

All four that I named above (including Frontier) were Federal indictments.

I guess the flipside to my comment above would be .... is there any reason for a bookie in 2020 to pay tax to the outfit anymore? It seems violence is mostly out of the question. Also very possible these busts all involve former outfit associates that only know one way of making money and keep doing it regardless of whether the actual outfit structure exists anymore.

Paloian is Turkish actually. I was friendly with Ralph Strocchia, an ex cop who worked for him. Paloian would be coaching his kids baseball and softball teams all weekend at tournaments and fielding calls as he's coaching third base and signalling Ralphie in the bleachers. These guys just live that gambling - there is just as much action as ever these guys want bookies, its like drugs not going away.

Despite living in Elmwood Park, does he generally seem to be connected to Cicero given his Jimmy I/Infelise crew ties?

Greg was with Matt Raimondi in the Riis Park Days - he was definitely with Cicero last time he went to prison- the Tribune is Tweeting photos of Jimmy Inendino as we speak he's not going to be happy about this bust:

Greg is a big name because he's got a big arrest record and was involved in the Hired Truck scandal.

How many of these recent Outfit charts have had him on them?
