I read on GBB that gambino capo sal scala was apparently a very dangerous guy. Anyone know anything bout scala?

If memory serves, he gunned down Tommy Bilotti while John Carneglia shot Castellano.

Out of the eight or so shooters and backup shooters, he was one of the two who scored a kill. :mrgreen:

Who was the shooter who's gun supposedly jammed? I was thinking it was Sal but I guess I remember wrong.

Great article, thanks for the confirmation. I had no idea that Lino scored a successful shot. I always thought he was just yet another backup shooter.

Steve Carracappa wanted to kill Lino and he did with Ippolito because he was friends with Bilotti and they grew up together.

Kuklinski was actually the successful shooter. He did Castellano then Bilottie. At the same time.

Absolute 100 percent bullshit. I read his book where he said he took a bus to Sparks to do the hit then took a bus back home.
