Cosa nostra a Cosa nuova

Post by aleksandrored »

browsing the internet, I found this material that speaks of Cosa Nuova, the plan to create the super structure of organized crime, and I would like to share with you guys and know what you think of it.

From Cosa nostra a Cosa nuova
"Here is the plan to reunite the clans"

Mafia and 'ndrangheta were ready for the great alliance. The relationships between organized crime and Masonic lodges in the stories of the repentant and in the minutes of the Grand Master Di Bernardo: «They told me that in Calabria 28 lodges on 32 were controlled by the 'ndrine'

Among the tens of thousands of pages that make up the investigation of the Anti-Mafia Procession of Reggio Calabria on the so-called «Invisibles» that would direct the choices of the 'ndrangheta from the shadows, there is also the report signed in 2014 by Giuliano Di Bernardo, the Grand Masonry Master who led the Great East of Italy between 1990 and 1993, when he came out to found the Regular Grand Lodge of Italy. Questioned by the public prosecutor Giuseppe Lombardo, he recounted the confidences his deputy made to the Grand Orient, the Calabrian Ettore Loizzo: "During a meeting of the Giunta del Grande Oriente, which I urgently called in 1993 after the beginning of the investigation of Dr. Cordova (at the time prosecutor of Palmi, ed) on Freemasonry, at my specific request he said that he could say with certainty that in Calabria, out of 32 lodges, 28 were controlled by the 'ndrangheta. I told him immediately: "And what do you want to do in the face of this disaster?". He replied: "Nothing". I, even more bewildered, asked why. He replied that he could not do anything because otherwise he and his family risked serious reprisals ... I point out that the Calabrian question was much more worrying because the Calabrian Freemasonry was much more branched than the Sicilian ".

The stories of the "Buscetta della politica"
Also in 2014, the repentant of Mafia Gioacchino Pennino, renamed the "Buscetta della politica" for his past in the DC, has drawn to the investigators reggini a context where, under the Lodges, a sort of mutual aid would be realized among the different criminal organizations: "I confirm that my uncle Gioacchino Pennino, a man of honor of the Brancaccio family, told me that he had been a fugitive in the 60s, guest of the Nuvoletta in the Neapolitan. This should not be surprising as Cosa Nostra, 'Ndrangheta and Sacra Corona Unite have always been united. It would be better to say I am a "One thing". From there my uncle went to Calabria where he told me that he had assembled Masons, 'Ndrangheta, secret services and politicians to do business and manage power. A sort of perennial and stable business committee ". The Messinese collaborator of justice Gaetano Costa added: "The links between Cosa Nostra and 'Ndrangheta were very close. I do not know for how long, nor with what operational results, but we came to design and shape (in the period immediately following the massacres of Falcone and Borsellino) a super-structure that included the two organizations; the so-called New Thing. It was a sort of mafia organization of the summit that included both the elements of thickness and weight of Cosa Nostra and those of the 'Ndrangheta. Cosa Nostra was used to insert in a more organic way, in the fabric of the Sicilian and Calabrian crime, unsuspected people, links with political, institutional and Masonic entities ». Also the last repentant of Cosa Nostra, that Gaspare Spatuzza who rewrote the story of the massacre in via D'Amelio, he entered the Reggio inquiry to say that Mariano Agate - the mafia boss of Mazara del Vallo, known for his frequent visits to more or less secular Masonic circles - "is to be considered the link between Cosa nostra and 'ndrangheta". And making its own the considerations of the prosecution led by Federico Cafiero de Raho, the investigating judge concludes that "the bond 'ndrangheta-masonry can, indeed must, be considered proven".

The secret dome
It is there that, according to the hypothesis of the accusation, the alleged "secret and confidential apical component" that the five people reached by the arrest measures of last week, including the parliamentary Antonio Caridi for the which the authorization requested from the Senate is awaited. They have come to influence not only the management of tenders and business, but also municipal, provincial, regional and national elections, with the aim of controlling further procurement and business. A "central power" that has availed itself of criminal labor until it is integrated and converged in the same organization. This would be the "invisible" ndrangheta "unveiled, as well as by new declarations, by the re-reading of old depositions and interceptions. The judge is still writing:lobby or the secret Loggia, adds the possibility of using methods far more penetrating, the mafia ». But "to operate in institutional or economic contexts" requires "secret, hidden, reserved points of reference, the only way in which the project of camouflage of the 'Ndrangheta" could pass. Hence the use of "unsuspecting" characters, although two of those arrested (the lawyer Giorgio De Stefano and the former parliamentary Paolo Romeo) are prejudiced by competition in the mafia association.

The "lesson" of the boss Mancuso
In confirmation of this reconstruction, the investigators cite an intercepting snatched in 2012 by the carabinieri of the Ros to the old boss of the province of Vibonese Pantaleone Mancuso, who said: "The 'ndrangheta no longer exists! ... Once in Limbadi, Nicotera, in Rosarno, in ... there was the 'ndrangheta! (...) Now what's more? ... the masonry and the four crooked ones who still believe in the 'ndrangheta remain! ... It's over! ... you have to do as ... to say ... there was "democracy" ... "democracy" fell and they made another party ... Forza Italia, "force things" ... we have to modernize! ... do not stay with the old rules! (...) The world changes and everything needs to change! ... today we call it "masonry" ... tomorrow we call it P4, P6, P9 ... ».
