Colombo War Chart

Post by Angelo Santino »

A chart I made several years ago. It looks like shit but the info is mostly accurate. (If there's more pics available now I may just remake it as my work has much improved since then.) Perhaps in a layout like these: http://media.gettyimages.com/photos/var ... id77343946 and http://media.gettyimages.com/photos/var ... id77343943. Any interest in this?

If you like this chart, be sure to thank Chaps for saving it off Real Deal all those years ago. And I said it in PM but publically: thanks again buddy!

1. Greg Scarpa?
2. You've got a black guy as an acting soldier. Is there a story there?
3. Good job, I was always under the impression that 10 odd Capos sided with Vic with only 2 or 3 left on team Persico with Scarpa basically waging the war on his own for the home side. I had no idea it was so evenly matched.
4. Thanks chaps.

It is an inside joke referring to an old RD poster.

I think initially most of the family wanted Orena as Boss. If I remember right it was something like 100 members out of the family's 120 something members wanted Orena in 1991. Though in the actual war the majority of the family stayed on the sidelines as the two factions fought it out.

Chris, Pogo, JD and them could probably do a better job at telling it but the "black kid" was a private joke from Chris toward a guy named Dan who, other than his hilarious rambling posts that butchered the English language, swore up and down that the drug ban was strictly adhered to by the families. He was so funny that Chris Christie (or maybe it was JD) did an entire thread of Dan quotes. Funny shit and I wish I had saved it! Dan was good for a laugh. As he would say, "go fuck selves."

Anyway, glad I still had the chart for all to enjoy!

Thanks all.
@ CC: Greg Scarpa is missing. Is this intentional?

The acting soldier ought to go down as classic mob forum comedy history.

1) I don't remember why Scarpa isn't there. I don't believe it was a mistake on my end, quite possibly he died by that time?
2) Yeah, Acting Soldier. There's Acting everything else. Joking aside I think the closest anyone got to such a position (that we know of) would be Gotti who was said to have ran the Fatico crew as an unofficial acting captain which put him into Dellacroce's orbit, this was before he went to prison and before he was formally made.
3) A Banana War and Gallo War chart would also be interesting.
