Very good JD, I enjoyed it very much. Top notch info.

I can add a few things. When he got married in 1929, he lived at 664 4th ave, bklyn. That adresse is very close to the Dixie tavern wich was owned by Maiorana. And as you said in 1940 he lived on 68th st in Bhurst betwen 14th and 15th ave. Of course we all know about the New corner restaurant.

One of the guys who was in his big crew and is iterasting to me because of his son being an underboss of the gambinos, is in fact Vincent De Cicco. Do you have something about that connection? And also I didnt understand what was he partner with at 226 4th Ave?

There's a 1960s report where his son David Rava is identified as non-member in context with some Colombo people (though it doesn't say he's a Colombo associate), and later David Rava's son-in-law was Michael Persico. He was made with the Gambino family as you've mentioned, but there's definitely a relationship there through South Brooklyn at least. Sounds like it goes deeper with what you've said about Armand's relationship to the Colombos, too. Would be curious if David ended up staying on record with the Dellacroce or Fatico crews until he was made or what path he took.

Interesting that Nick Russo of Trenton, more well-known as a later member of the Aurello/Gravano crew, can be traced to the Rava crew. Anyone know if he was originally a Brooklyn guy or when he ended up in Trenton? He was close to many Philly members. I've mentioned before how John Rizzo and Louis Milito were arrested in Trenton in the 1960s and tried to drop Bruno/Simone's names to get out of the charges, so it seems that crew had an interest in Trenton in general.

Yes good point and question, if he pops up as a copo or acting capo of dominick pizzo it could be that he remained with Neil and than with Fatico. Toddo Aurellos crew was as it seems very small, was there at least 10 members in that crew?
