Tony Milano: King of Murray Hill and Los Angeles?

Was that Pete Milano's old man?
Re: Tony Milano: King of Murray Hill and Los Angeles?
Yes it was. Tony Milano was an early black hand member who survived decades at the very top of Organized Crime. While Pete and Carmen were "not even close" to being their father, they all had big interests back in Cleveland. Tony was known as the "King of Murray Hill" which was the Little Italy section in Mayfield, OH (Suburb of Cleveland). His older brother Frank Milano planted his flag out in Los Angeles while on the run from a few murder beefs in Cleveland. The Milano brothers were very close to Moe Dalitz and the Jewish boys from Cleveland. Tony Milano ran the Calabrian faction of the Ohio River Valley.Nicholas wrote:Was that Pete Milano's old man?

I see. And to think the LA Crew was arguably the biggest joke in the Mafia
Re: Tony Milano: King of Murray Hill and Los Angeles?
The Milano brothers, Frank and Tony, were some of the country's most powerful organized crime figures in the country in their heyday. Neither of their sons garnered the respect or fear that they garnered. Tony Milano was one of the earlier Union infiltrators and every major union local in Cleveland he had clout with.Nicholas wrote:I see.
