Following on from the thread about Albie Vena, it got me thinking about two things:
1) Which families have historically had other roles in the top spots other than Boss, Underboss, Street Boss, Consigliere, Messenger and Ruling Panel members (not including acting roles)?
2) Is there a potential leadership position within a family that no OC family has adopted, but would be beneficial?

I think Nicoletti was identified as the Treasurer, so yeah a financial advisor/accountant type of figure I guess.

Sam Carlisi was said to be Chicago Outfit treasurer by law enforcement after DiFronzo replaced him as boss in early 1990s. Was from a news article reporting of Carlisi's arrest.

From the second point: the ndrangheta is divided in 2 part: la Società Minore (Low Society) and la Società Maggiore (Big Society).

Really? Interesting that talking to LE is mentioned as being okay.
How often has that happened? As in someone testified on other families to "better there family " ?
I'm gonna assume that is not the same for when ppl r just tryna get outta trouble

The ndrangheta had a high hierarchy and new ranks are continualy created (the last in 2010) so is difficult to understand the real ranks power.
