And owned real estate down the Carolinas
Re: Frankie locs brother
In the last few years there's been so much new info on made guys who were relatively unknown. I'm guessing the family members are more talkative after the members die or the decline in mafia or just youtube and all the podcasts
Re: Frankie locs brother
Has he ever been confirmed as a member?
That one Ravenite tape always intrigued me:
That one Ravenite tape always intrigued me:
Gotti saying Frank was "bred this way" made me wonder if older LoCascio relatives were members. They were from Baucina like the LoCascios of the Lucchese Family.GOTTI: But that’s what I, I, I’m tellin’ you. And you guys might think I’m crazy. You know we were fuckin’ prisoners (phonetic), guys like me and you, when we caught that fuck in ’57. We were babies, sixteen and seventeen. You were fifteen and fourteen. But we were fucked. But how old were you when you became a “friend,” Frank?
LOCASCIO: Twenty-three.
GOTTI: Twenty-three. You got bred this way! You got, this— He got it rammed down his fuckin’ throat.
Re: Frankie locs brother

Re: Frankie locs brother
Who is this Frankie Smug they mention in the video?......Sol
Re: Frankie locs brother
Not sure. His father was Salvatore LoCascio who worked as a bricklayer and came to the US from Baucina in 1920, arriving to a brother near the Bowery and East Village in Lower Manhattan. Married in the Bronx in 1928 where he remained.
Also I was wrong about the Lucchese LoCascios being from Baucina. Their father Giuseppe was born in Bolognetta (Pippo Bono's hometown) and listed that as his last foreign residence. Bolognetta is very close to Baucina though and the LoCascios were close to the Dippolitos (future LA leaders who started as Lucchese associates) who came from Baucina. When Salvatore Dippolito came to NYC he was supposed to be accompanied by a fellow Baucinese named Calogero LoCascio who was heading to a brother named Giuseppe on Christie Street who I assumed was the father of the Lucchese members but now I'm not sure. Calogero LoCascio ended up in the Bronx, where the Baucinese Gambino LoCascios lived. Either way the Lucchese LoCascios were from a town next to Baucina and had close ties to Baucinesi in NYC but I'm doubting a connection to the Gambino ones.
