Really? I never saw the autopsy but then again I never looked for it.Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Sat Jul 03, 2021 10:16 am The autopsy showed that his hands weren't cut off. He had lost parts of some fingers due to decomposition and that got spun in the media as his hands getting cut off.

The jewelry and severed hands were both myths. Makes for a good story but someone exaggerated or lied.

Re: New Decavalcante book notes
Nope, like the transcript I posted of Massino says, Sonny was making moves to takeover the family and because that he got whacked. Pistone is full of shit.
Re: New Decavalcante book notes
Honestly I’m not sure I buy it. Must be some fucking coincidence that all the people that brought Brasco in got killed/supposed to be killed right after he was revealed to be a FBI agent
Re: New Decavalcante book notes
Cantarella confirmed Massino's story about Mirra.
Jilly Greca was killed before Pistone left the streets, def unrelated.
Pistone himself learned before he left the street that Napolitano was trying to make a power move and that Napolitano and Massino had cut ties. There are some conversations near the end of Pistone's book that suggest there was growing tension in the family and Napolitano was at the center of it.
Did any CIs or CWs confirm there was an actual contract on Lefty? Can't remember.
Massino did confirm Pistone had been proposed for membership, so it's not like he was out to deny everything Pistone said.
Massino did say they added a rule where an associate had to be on record with his sponsor for eight years before they'd make him and this rule was directly inspired by Pistone's infiltration. I'm guessing Pistone didn't find that out until the 2000s, as that would be something he'd have milked to death -- getting the Bonannos to impose stricter induction guidelines.

Q Is this the same Frankie Lino who ran out during the three captains' murders?
A Yes, it is.

Q What about Fat Richie. What was Fat Richie's role?
A He was just there.
Q What about Bobby Lino?
A He was a shooter.
Q You mentioned a guy Monkey Man.
Do you know Monkey Man's real name? A Ronnie Falcone.
Q What was his role in the murder?
A He was a shooter.
Q You also mentioned a guy Joseph Lino. Who was that?
A He dug the grave where Sonny Black was supposed to get buried.
Q Do you know where Sonny Black was supposed to be buried? A I don't know. Staten Island.
Q You also mentioned a guy named Bagels something?
A He dug the hole with Joey Lino.
Q What about Frank Coppa, what was his role?
A He had the hit, the contract to kill Sonny Black.

Yep he couldn't get made because he was a prison guard. He has a brother who is an associate as well. Also Ronald was banging a tranny I believe..him or Coppa. or both...together possibly....lolPogo The Clown wrote: ↑Mon Jul 05, 2021 9:49 am Associate Ronald Filicomo. He went down for this murder.

It was Coppa and it came up in the Massino trial. Going from memory Massino's lawyer said something about Coppa and a tranny and Coppa reason ended that it was his accountant who liked to dress in drag or something like that. It was in one of the Massino books.

Louie Bagels? Massino mentioned him on the Napolitano hit? Surely he can't be talking about Louie Daidone could he? Daidone goes from being around the Bonnanos to getting made with the Luccheses in less than a year? I don't think he had the bagel store back then, either.
Anyone know who the Louie Bagels is that Massino mentioned?
