If Charles Quintina is the consigliere to Frank Salemme during his reign as boss as mentioned in this article below. Does that mean that he knows Flemmi?

All of those guys knew Flemmi. They may not have had personal dealings but they all knew him. He was around 30+ years. Flemmi was prob known more in crime circles than Bulger.davidf1989 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 1:20 am If Charles Quintina is the consigliere to Frank Salemme during his reign as boss as mentioned in this article below. If nobody sees it, it didn't happen.

Thanks for your message and I guess that both Flemmi and Mercurio were better informants compared with BulgerJakeTheSnake630 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 7:19 amAll of those guys knew Flemmi. Estimates from the mid-2000s had the family at 20-25 active and 10 inactive members in Boston with another dozen or so members in Providence. Not mentioned but they had at least 1 member in Connecticut. So a total membership in the 40s range. Probably less in 2022. Providence in particular is significantly reduced now.

So 3 crews at a guess? 2 in Bos 1 in Prov?

Even 1 full crew in Providence may be a stretch at this point. In 2011 the Feds said the Providence faction was decimated with only 1 or 2 active members. Today there are less than 10 members in Rhode Island and almost all of them are inactive. Though it is possible that the current UnderBoss (Eddie Lato) is out of Providence.

Wow. So providence gone.Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Sat May 14, 2022 5:12 pm Even 1 full crew in Providence may be a stretch at this point. You'd have to assume 3 crews in Boston? Mid 2000's at 45ish, assume dropped by a third since then, leaves 30 members. Including inactive and imprisoned, 3 crews at 5/6 members ea and 15ish inactive/imprisoned/admin?
Fair guess?
