Re: Pittsburgh fam questions
Ironic FOH, my Uncle (the one you know very well-"The Tailor") had a beef with The Jew as well over a broad (who I believe you may know very well). Needless to say, he went to Uncle Dom and everything was straightened out and The Jew was never allowed to step foot back in the store.

Hard to believe your Uncle was a womanizer In the day: Big Dom was the Man!

He was friendly to the ladies, not a womanizer. My Nonna would have slapped your mouth for saying that about her beloved brotherFriendofHenry wrote:Hard to believe your Uncle was a womanizer In the day: Big Dom was the Man!

This happened in the early 1980's while Two Gun Jimmy was just assuming control from Big Dom.FriendofHenry wrote:Hard to believe your Uncle was a womanizer In the day: Big Dom was the Man!

I'm sure JCB knows better than I and I'm sure he'll chime in.

Calabrian Boss over Youngstown from the early 1940's to 1981. He and Paolo "Paul" Romeo were actually co-boss of the Calabrian Faction, considered the most powerful in Northeast Ohio. He was the Uncle to Vincenzo "Brier Hill Jimmy" Prato, boss of Youngstown from 1981 until his death in 1988. His mother and my great grandfather were brother and sister. He was made into the Profaci family when he arrived from San Nicola.Cheech wrote:What was Mallamo's role?

LOL.. Yes he is. And you're 100% correct on the offspring. Nicky used to come to Youngstown when my grandma and her brothers were alive 4 times per year and to the family reunion in Hillsville, PA every August...His son stole a very expensive Norman Rockwell figurine from my grandma's sister...needless to say, when my uncle got word of it, he called Nicky and Nicky drove Philip back to Pennsylvania to return it. And Nicky told Philip that he would chop off his hands if that ever happened again. Nicky's father and my great grandmother were brother and sister.

My mother told me the same thing about Chopping off my Hands if I got caught stealing. My mother ALWAYS had a Machete beside her. Even when she died at the age of 87 she had that Machete by her side.
