Over the years, just like some others on here, I have gotten to know EB pretty well. He is definitely not a bullshitter or a liar. He tells it like it is, from his perspective and from what he knows. He sometimes speculates, just like the rest of us, and that´s fine. But his knowledge is on a whole different level than any of the "street guy" posters EVER to have been posting on these forums, including Pic. Hands down! Like I said above, is EB always correct? No he´s not. But just like he once said over on GBB, he has had close relatives who has gone through making ceremonies.JD wrote:Not a bad comparison at all, but it might actually be a little unfair towards Lenehan. There you have it, never printed before.
Re: Joseph cammarano jnr
I completely disagree but fair enough HK, you're free to believe all that. I know I'm one of the very few with this outlook towards pretty much all street posters. I also know from past experience on the other forums that arguing over these guys' credibility rarely if ever results in anyone having a change of opinion so I'll leave it at that.
Re: Joseph cammarano jnr
I think some people don't understand basic things about life never mind Cosa Nostra. They have a kind of thinking is baby thinking and simple even for a baby.
Power depends on your support base. If your support base is strong you can do many more things. But if you're power base is weak or non-existent then you rely on concensus for decisions. That's how Mancuso is incharge by a concensus. It's probably why he's the boss. There's nobody else strong enough to take it or wanting it or prepared to make decision by concensus. Even the article shows it clearly, Cammarano had backing of others to become underboss. He shows to Mancuso this decision will be acceptable. If he wants to make a captain he will most likely not manage it if it is opposed. That's what is called diplomacy and even some people call this type of thing politics.
People say nobody is listening to Mancuso. Its because he's in jail and almost certainly became boss because nobody else wanted. That's why nobody bothers about Mancuso yet - he's prepared to make many decisions by concensus. Failure to understand such basic things really means some discussions on here get ruined and reduced to baby thinking by people who I get a picture in my mind they come out of the toilet after wipeing the mouth and then wonder why the smell.

I didn't know that he had relatives as made members. If true, that's definitely interesting. Anyway, I consider Pizzaboy an authority on everything Bronx. He's been through the bullshit filters and criteria of several highly regarded posters here and been qualified as genuine, so I have no reason to believe otherwise. And besides, I always find his posts interesting and I've been reading many of his posts over the last five years. He always sounds sincere, and even if he is deliberately lying, it wouldn't affect me in the slightest.HairyKnuckles wrote:Over the years, just like some others on here, I have gotten to know EB pretty well. People with genuine street knowledge are as much an asset as the great researchers we have here.

it's very annoying seeing the back and forth insults here. so many people put so much into their posts that it's almost a slap in the face to their efforts to see a thread get derailed over petty arguments. we've all seen time and time again what that does to the level of discussion on other boards, watered down garbage that needs to be thoroughly sifted to find anything useful. keep this section free of it please, no excuses seeing how it's so easy to avoid mucking up topics simply by going after each other in the section designed for it!

Re: Joseph cammarano jnr
another thing i've noticed is that some of the guys here get a bit more of a hard time than they deserve imo just for sharing their opinions. i understand the logic of going by official sources, i think overall that's the best bet by far, but going to the extreme end of that position can definitely get a bit redundant in the context of a discussion that usually involves a bunch of hypotheticals. on the flip side of that, i think a bit more clarification is needed for conflicting info. statements like "said mobster is running said crew/family" can definitely rub some the wrong way and come across much different than "i believe said mobster is running said crew/family based of this info brought to my attention by... , which i agree with for these reasons..." which is fair game on a discussion board whether or not you agree with the position or the reasoning behind it.
Re: Joseph cammarano jnr
I don't like reading some of these posts talking shit on EB/Pizza. He has a very good track record. The guy is as street as you can get on these forums so don't brush his posts and opinions off like he's some kind of bs artist. Get used to the idea that sometimes people actually CAN offer information that you won't find on google or in some report given by a RAT or the Feds.
Ok back to the thread...

Re: Joseph cammarano jnr
That's a lot of captains isn't it? Are some of those listed as "acting" doing so for those listed in the main captains list? 16 crews seems like a lot, considering the Genovese only have what, 14?
Re: Joseph cammarano jnr
How many capos does the Bonanno family have in total right now?
Re: Joseph cammarano jnr
Snakes:
According to the memorandum they were all present at the stated meetings at the same time so I would say they're different crews. It does seem like alot but all the memo did was list those present at several meetings and their rank.
