A source claimed that a power struggle was building between Mike Miranda, backed by Antonio Carillo and Ruggiero Boiardo, and Vito Genovese, backed by Thomas Eboli, Peter DeFeo, and "probably" Angelo DeCarlo. This was due to Miranda disapproving of Genovese making Gerard Catena his underboss.

Not sure the exact year the source gave the info. Anyone ever heard anything like this?

Allegedly it can from an informant in NYPD 6th precinct, but it had Trigger Mike backing up Miranda protest for Catena, while Tony Bender and the Sailor backed up Genovese pick. I would say 1958 or 59. That info has been around since early 2010s.

Based on what B. posted in the pictures section NK T-7 could be Felix Bocchicchio.

Made guy yes. But I´m not sure exactly how he was related to Mike Miranda. I always thought they were brothers but in the document posted above, it says Barney is his nephew.

A possible early Newark member would be Marco "Mimi" Limandri. Valachi identified him as a made Mafia member. His house in Belleville, NJ was bombed and set on fire in 1932. May have something to do with the conflict the Newark Family had with the Commission at the time. In 1940, he was indicted as part of a massive illegal alcohol ring with other more or less famous mobsters. He relocated to San Diego, California sometime after the WW2.
